Dr. Whitney received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency training at Duluth Family Practice Clinic in Duluth, Minnesota. Dr. Whitney is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Association of Family Practice. She has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent medicine, women's health, and management of chronic diseases. She also has a special interest in sign language for hearing babies and toddlers and their parents to facilitate early communication. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and many outdoor activities.
Andrea Repphun, M.D.
Dr. Repphun received her medical degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine in 1998. After completing her Family Medicine residency at St. Luke's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she moved to Olympia and has been practicing Family Medicine in the area since 2001. She joined Tumwater Family Practice in January 2014. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and has special interests in chronic disease management, women's health and is currently further her education in Intergrative Medicine. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking and playing outdoors.
Barbara Sherry, P.A.-C
Barbara "Bobbie" Sherry, Certified Physician Assistant, joined Tumwater Family Practice in 2004. She left to pursue other interests in 2013 and returned to our clinic in 2014. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of both the American and Washington Academy of Physician Assistants In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors.
Jennifer Casler, P.A.-C
Jennifer Casler, Certified Physician Assistant, joined Tumwater Family Practice in October 2018. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University in 1999. She worked as a sleep technologist for 13 years before earning her Master's degree from the University of Washington in 2018. She is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of Washington Academy of Physicians Assistants. Jennifer is a native of Olympia and enjoys many of the outdoor activities offered by the area. She also enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
Louise Kaplan, PhD, ARNP, FAANP, FAAN
Louise Kaplan is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) who began her nursing career in 1974 after graduating from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She became a family nurse practitioner after earning her Master of Nursing degree from the University of Washington in 1981. Louise is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and also has a PhD in health policy from Brandeis University. She is an associate professor and director of the RN-to-BSN nursing program at Saint Martin's University. Louise has conducted research and published on a variety of topics including ARNP prescribing of controlled substances, prescriptive authority and health workforce and education issues. Louise is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners the American Academy of Nursing. She is actively involved in numerous professional nursing organizations. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and is an avid who enjoys spending time with her two adult sons.
Kimberly Ireland, ARNP
Kimberly Ireland is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her undergraduate degree (BSN) from Northern Arizona University in 1986 and her Master's in Nursing in 1993 from Oregon Health Sciences University. Her educational focus was as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Kimberly and her family have been residents of Thurston County since 1995. The thing Kimberly enjoys most about family medicine is the "family" aspect. She has practiced in a variety of settings including family practice, urgent care, corrections and emergency medicine. Kimberly's off time is spent with her family, enjoying outdoor activities, animals and crafts.
Theodore "Ted" Green, ARNP
Theodore "Ted" Green is an Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2015 from the University of Washington Tacoma and then his Master's of Science in Family Medicine from Georgetown University in 2019. He has lived and worked throughout the Puget Sound area for most of his medical career, having worked as an RN for 6 years in the Emergency Department at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA and most recently, as a provider in family medicine in Tacoma, WA at a private clinic specializing in primary care and addiction medicine. He is an astute practitioner in adult-geriatric complex disease management and prevention. He has a special interest in medical weight loss and wellness and dermatological/aesthetic medicine. Ted genuinely values family time and enjoys various leisure activities such as traveling, reading and learning American history, golfing, and watching a good baseball game.
Charmaine Green, ARNP
Charmaine Green is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of Puget Sound Nurse Practitioner Association. She joined TFPC in October 2022. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Washington and Jacksonville University in 2017 and then her Master's from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2021. Charmaine worked as an RN for 9 years in a hospital setting and has managed an out patient surgery center before she became an ARNP. She has a special interest in women's health. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and golfing when she is not working.
Kurt Sandine, MD
Dr. Sandine received his medical degree from Loyola Strich School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency at UNC's MAHEC Family Practice program in Asheville, NC. Dr. Sandine then served as a Family Physician and Flight Surgeon from 2000 -2004 at McChord Air Force Base, WA. Dr. Sandine has been practicing high acuity urgent care for the last 20 years at several locations in Olympia. Urgent care work and procedures are his areas of interest. He enjoys his down time with his wife, dog, and 5 grown step children. Hobbies include hot yoga, cycling, hiking, stand up paddleboarding, and movies.
Jessica Ahern, ARNP
Jessica is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her undergraduate in nursing at Gonzaga University and spent many years working as an ICU nurse before going on to complete her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Washington State University. Jessica has a passion for primary care and special interests in women’s health and preventative medicine.
